[DJ Chemical Sexy - Underneath]

It was an okay song.

The beat was a bit generic though. Try to mix up the hats a bit but dont dont go to crazy with so that it sounds gay. The ending was a bit low too. End it with a couple instruments at least, not just one. I have to admit though that the piano was golden and that your not bad at making melodies. You should probably choose instruments that sound good together though. You were mixing things together that are in completely different genres like happy hardcore, drum n bass, and dance. Also, mix up the beat a bit every other measure or so. Don't make everything different, just switch it up. One more thing, let the eurogate come in better than that, put like a snare roll or something in it. No not a snare roll, put in an egg on from some of the preset songs or something close to it that sound like a gust of wind. Overall it was okay, just too generic. Put some emotion in it for me okay?

P.S. Where'd you get the high pitch noise you used in the section changes?

Alrighty, thanks for that buddy. I'll try to mix up things a bit more, i just thought i should keep it relatively simple, i want people to groove, not say WTF, you know what i mean? and yeah, i probably should have ended with like a mellow cord or something... but now i know for next time :) ..and the high pitch noise, that's just a 3xOsc and i messed around with the pitch.

Pretty sweet!

It just needs a little more bass. When this bass is not there it kinda hurts your ears a bit. Also the drums needs to be a little more worked on. I don't like pauses in hardcore loops. Apart from that it'd make a pretty good menu in something like unreal flash. But seriously, add another instrument thats bassy.

I honestly could listen to this for like ever. Brilliant use of lyrics. You should seriously think of like remixing the nwhole song. If successful your turn out to be another mysto and pizzi, only remixing cooler songs (granted, I like mysto and pizzi too).

Everything is awesome! Sure, the ending could have used another measure after the chick stopped talking but uit doesn't really effect anything.

I have only one issue with it, the bass. Theres a couple things about it actually. For starters, I don't thing its the right instruments for the strings. It's a little too... plucky if ya know what I'm sayin. Now the second thing is the fact that the lowest note on the bass feels TOO low. After a few plays through though, it doesn't bother me as much. So overall, its a cool ass loop.

It'd actually be pretty sweet for a club beat.

The melody after 2:00 was the only thing that bothered me. You should not have made the rhythm just plain quarter notes. You should have mixed it up a little bit to give it a kind of satisfying dancy feel (You should have put the mix up in the area where the pitches changed). The instruments were perfect for the job though, couldn't have been any better actually. Thats my only fret with this song. Fix that up and it'd be perfect for a club dude (not a five star club though). The music kind of reminds me of deadmau5 actually (If you dont know who they are I suggest you figure out ASAP).

P.S. Thank you for putting white noise in there, it wouldn't be the same without it. People don't usually know how important it is in these kinds of songs.

i listened to it after putting it only quarter notes.....SUCKED really sounded like some hands up track made by basshunter....unless thats what you have been listening to then you like hands up not trance (here its called dancemost of the times)
again trance track not dance the most change is in the beat not the melody it self make the progression to the build up worth the wait
ohh and by the way there are going to be vocals (essential for this type of trance) but that wont be uploaded here
and before you review another trance track listen to artist like rank 1, flutlicht and maybe some of the armada label

I like how you were able to use it at a slow tempo rate and still have it sound halfway decent, horrible choice of base drum though. You should of made it a club kick. Screwed up ending :(. You don't usually just want it to just end. Where you put spaces you should put fx or egg ons. For endings it should prolly be fade out or fx. You also need some more manuevering of pitch when it comes to biohazard. You have to find the breaks in the biohazard to do that though, it takes a while :/.

hahaha ye i figured it takes a while lol xD. But i only started last week hahaha and with the trial version its extremely annoying because the toxic biohazard just cuts out randomly cause its programmed like that.. im gna try get into the coding and redo that little annoyance and maybe the song will sound better and im gna work on the fading abit :D

Well I ran my guitar through my podxt. That's about it as far as tone goes. Or are you talking about the delayed intro? For that I just had three tracks that had the lead on it and shifted one track a quarter note back and then the other a half note back. Pretty simple to do. Also a lot less work than setting up a delay.

Life. That's my inspiration. And yes, it may sound corny or really broad, but it's the truth :) If something happens to me, or someone I know, and I go through an emotion, I try and portray it in a song. (The story could be completely different, but the feeling is there - and that is what makes a song real ... well, that's just what I think)

This one sounds a lil cruddier with the inverse but it does sound more trippy with the bass in it.
